Call for proposals: Faculty-led study abroad programs in Croatia

  • Proposal deadline: Tuesday, March 1 (for 2023 programs)

UGA’s Office of Global Engagement (OGE) is inviting proposals from faculty to develop and administer faculty-led study abroad programs in Croatia for undergraduate students. While UGA’s study abroad program portfolio has grown over the past few years, we are still looking to faculty for their expertise in creating new global engagement opportunities for students in strategic areas.

OGE invites UGA faculty to propose and plan credit-bearing academic programs in Croatia that are 1-4 weeks long, ranging from 1-6 credits. A maximum of two proposals will be supported. Program director(s) of selected programs will receive an exploratory travel grant of up to $6,000 per program. After proposals are selected, program director(s) will be invited to submit anticipated expenses for their exploratory travel to OGE for approval. Expenses for economy class airfare, hotel, ground transportation, per diem, etc. will be considered. Please view the attached call for proposals for more information.
