Apply for UGA's Service-Learning Fellows Program by March 18
- Application deadline: Friday, March 18
UGA’s Office of Service-Learning is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 Service-Learning Fellows program. This year-long faculty development program provides an opportunity for selected faculty to develop new service-learning courses or integrate service-learning into existing courses or academic programs. Complete application materials are available on the Office of Service-Learning website.
Service-learning is an experiential learning method that provides opportunities for students to apply academic knowledge through projects that address community needs. Faculty selected for participation receive a $2,500 faculty development award and mentoring from experienced Service-Learning Fellows, as well as individualized support from the Office of Service-Learning. All UGA faculty members with an interest in service-learning are eligible and previous experience with service-learning is not required.
For questions related to the application, please contact Paul Matthews, associate director of the Office of Service-Learning, via email or call 706-542-0892. The Office of Service-Learning is jointly supported by the Office of Instruction and the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach.
