Commencement information for faculty

  • Regalia rental deadline: Monday, March 28
  • Parking registration deadline: Friday, April 29

This year, spring commencement will be held on Friday, May 13. We have again made special arrangements to help facilitate faculty participation in the spring ceremonies, including offering complimentary regalia rental and parking at the Carlton Street deck next to Stegeman Coliseum for the graduate ceremony and the Tate Deck for the undergraduate ceremony.

  • Regalia rental: Faculty regalia rental forms are due to the UGA Bookstore by this coming Monday, March 28. Regalia rentals requested after that date are not guaranteed and may incur a personal rush fee of $20 or more.
  • Parking: Parking is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Use the registration form to request a parking pass for the Carlton Street Deck. The deadline to register for parking is Friday, April 29.
  • Clear bag policy: The new clear bag policy for UGA athletic events is in effect for commencement. Please follow the guidelines listed in the permitted/prohibited items section.

Faculty who plan to attend either (or both) of the commencement ceremonies should use the registration form to register and request parking. For additional information, please refer to the commencement website.
