Key dates for FY22 user access verification

Each year, the University of Georgia undergoes an annual financial audit by the State of Georgia auditors.  In preparation for the fiscal year 2022 audit, we will be conducting a verification of select user accounts on:

  • Banner
  • UGA Financial Management System (PeopleSoft)
  • UGA Budget Management System (Hyperion)
  • UGAmart
  • UGA Jobs
  • OneUSG Connect (for managers/supervisors/approvers only, not all employees)

This audit will involve select users verifying the need for the access they have, and supervisors reviewing and deciding to approve or deny this access for employees under their purview.

This year, all processes will be conducted in Team Dynamix.

Key dates:

  • March: Preparations and testing continue. Look for an admin memo about the user access verification process in mid-March.
  • March 28: FY22 user access verification kick-off.
    • If you are required to verify your access to Banner, UGA Financial Management System, UGA Budget Management System, UGA Jobs, UGAmart, or OneUSG Connect, you will receive an email from EITS Communications to verify your access. Your supervisor will also need to approve your access.
    • If you do not receive an email, but need to verify access, please contact the Help Desk.
  • April: Reminder emails will be sent from Team Dynamix to users and supervisors who have not verified and approved access to systems.
  • April 29: Deadline to verify and approve access to systems.
    • Access must be verified by users and approved by their supervisors by this date.
  • May: Follow-up checks and send data to data custodians for review.
  • June 3: User access verification complete.

You may be asked to verify access if your job duties include the following tasks:

  • Creating financial transactions
  • Approving financial transactions
  • Managing approvals and workflow
  • Approving payroll-related transactions
  • Processing and interacting with student information via the Banner admin pages system.

If you are required to verify access, you will receive an email from EITS Communications alerting you to verify your access on Monday, March 28.
