Call Me MISTER program coordinator search

The Mary Frances Early College of Education’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is seeking a program coordinator to coordinate the Call Me MISTER program and provide support for additional education and mentorship programs.

Call Me MISTER—an acronym for Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models—is a national program that aims to increase diversity within the teacher talent pool by preparing students from underserved, underprivileged, or economically disadvantaged backgrounds or teaching areas.

The program coordinator will manage the recruitment and admissions processes, establish professional development and mentorship opportunities for participants, maintain program data, and participate in evaluation and monitoring. The program coordinator will report to the associate dean for diversity, equity, and inclusion and support other programming initiatives in the College’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
