From the Dean: Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education

Ellen Evans, who has served as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education since August 2017, has informed me of her desire to return to her faculty role as a professor in the Department of Kinesiology, effective Aug. 1. She has been awarded a Study in a Second Discipline Fellowship and will be working with colleagues in the College of Public Health’s Institute of Gerontology and the College of Family and Consumer Sciences’ Cooperative Extension in the fall on new directions for her research.

I appreciate Ellen’s contributions to research and graduate education over the last five years and wish her well in her future endeavors. I will announce a process for selecting the next associate dean in the coming weeks.
