Register for SEC Mini-Conference on AI in the Curriculum

Faculty, staff, and students from all disciplines are invited to register for a virtual SEC mini-conference on the teaching of artificial intelligence across the curriculum. The conference, hosted by the University of Florida, is free of charge.

Artificial intelligence is a tool deployed in every field of study and across nearly all sectors of business and industry. Many SEC institutions are now teaching AI outside of its traditional disciplines. The SEC Academic Consortium has decided on an initiative across all SEC institutions on AI. This conference is an opportunity to share ideas and network.

Please view the conference agenda on the University of Florida website. Events include:

  • Introduction
  • Keynote address from Ned Finkle, vice president of external affairs of NVIDIA, a multinational technology company
  • Three short talks from SEC faculty teaching AI
  • Breakout sessions by discipline, where faculty can discuss trends in 13 broad disciplines ranging from the arts and humanities to business, engineering, agriculture, education, and law
