The College’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion invites racially and ethnically diverse doctoral students to attend UGA’s American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (ACCTE) Holmes Scholars Program information session.
The Holmes Scholars program, new to UGA, supports racially and ethnically diverse doctoral students by providing them with the academic and professional guidance needed to be successful in the field of education. Scholars will have access to a national network of peers, research and mentoring opportunities, and job fairs. Active members are also invited to attend the ACCTE annual meeting, the Annual Holmes Scholars Summer Policy Institute in Washington D.C., and the research retreat.
There is an application process and an expectation that members of the program will actively engage in the program’s events and programming. If you are interested in learning more, please register to attend the information session.
