Open access benefits from UGA Libraries

UGA Libraries recently signed new “read and publish” agreements with journal publishers. The contracts with Wiley and Cambridge University Press cover article processing charges for UGA-affiliated researchers with papers accepted in more than 1,750 journals.

Additionally, a pilot program is available to provide open access funding to graduate students. To learn more about scholarly communications programs at UGA, please visit the UGA Libraries website.

As you prepare your fall 2022 courses, UGA Libraries is ready to help. Subject specialist librarians can help in selecting supplemental readings and media, and the Libraries provide a free course reserve service. If you have your requests in by Friday, July 29, materials are guaranteed to be in reserves or in eLC by the first day of class.
