Kudos: Johnson selected as Distinguished Professor at NC State's College of Natural Resources

Corey Johnson (Ph.D. ’02), alumnus and former faculty member of the Mary Frances Early College of Education’s recreation and leisure studies program, was recently selected as the Karla A. Henderson Distinguished Professor in the College of Natural Resources at North Carolina State University.

The position is the first of its kind in the College of Natural Resources and was created through a gift from Karla Johnson, a professor emeritus at NC State, to support a faculty member whose active research connects social justice with leisure and recreation in communities.
