Football game day building security
As the 2022 football season is here, it is again time for the University to finalize security arrangements for the hours preceding, during, and after the games.
It is important to emphasize the necessity of keeping University facilities locked except in those instances when the building serves as public space. These facilities include the Tate Student Center, Zell B. Miller Learning Center, Joe Frank Harris Commons, and Bolton Dining Commons. All other campus facilities should remain secured.
The College of Education buildings are considered off-limits on game days, except for legitimate work purposes. Anyone who uses the buildings should ensure the doors are locked and that no unauthorized personnel enter. If you have problems with unauthorized persons attempting to enter the building while you are trying to enter for legitimate purposes, please contact the University Police at 542-2200.
