Nominations for two College Committees due today

Two Mary Frances Early College of Education committees are seeking new members (any full-time faculty member) for a two-year term:
Academic Appeals Committee: One member to be elected. Nominees can come from any department.
The Academic Appeals Committee shall hear and act upon academic appeal cases involving graduate and undergraduate student courses and programs that cannot be resolved at the department level. Appeals regarding admission into the University of Georgia must be filed with undergraduate admissions or graduate admissions.
Scholarship Committee: Two members to be elected. Nominees from any of the following departments:
- Career and Information Studies
- Counseling and Human Development Services
- Educational Theory and Practice
- Kinesiology
- Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy
- Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies Education
The Scholarship Committee shall select recipients for scholarships awarded by the College to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the College.
Please submit nominations (self or other) by Wednesday, Sept. 7 to Janette Hill, Faculty Senate president. Elections will follow shortly thereafter. If you have any questions, please contact Hill.
