Nominations for UGA awards due Oct. 10
- Submission deadline: Monday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m.
Nominations for UGA awards should be submitted to the Office of Faculty and Staff Services by 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10. Dossiers should be submitted as a single PDF file via an email attachment to Takenya Moore.
The Awards Committee will not review late or incomplete dossiers. The nomination and selection process varies for university awards. For more information related to eligibility, the application process, and submission requirements, please visit the College’s internal resources website.
Richard B. Russell Undergraduate Teaching Award
- Eligibility: Tenure-track faculty engaged in undergraduate instruction who have been at the University a minimum of three years at the time of the actual award and who have been in a tenure-track position for a total of no more than 10 years.
Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professorships
- Eligibility: Individuals who have held tenure-track faculty positions for at least five years.
- Eligibility: Nominations for these awards come from the Dean. If you have a nominee to suggest, please contact Dean Denise Spangler.
