School Law

Our very own John Dayton, department head of the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, is providing a free workshop on the essential principles of law and professional ethics governing education. The event is open to all College of Education intended and admitted teacher-prep students.

Social Media

The Mary Frances Early College of Education is proud to welcome UGA alumnus and current middle school science teacher Ty Cook for our last teacher-prep workshop of the semester. This workshop will discuss the ins and outs of using social media as an educator. Topics will include social media as an extension of the classroom, navigating personal life as a teacher, and the legality of posting students online. This hybrid workshop is available to all College of Education undergraduate and graduate students, including intended majors.
