Welcome new staff member

Maggie Harper has joined the Mary Frances Early College of Education as business manager in the Department of Kinesiology.

Before joining the College, Harper grew up in Virginia and graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. After graduation, she moved to Athens, spending three years working as an accountant in the hospitality industry before joining the business office in UGA’s Terry College of Business as an accountant and then senior accountant.

In the summer of 2020, she moved with her husband to Moline, Illinois, where she worked as an accountant for an agricultural production facility. Almost two years later, they moved back to their first home—Athens—and she returned to UGA.
