Koo selected for KAERA Early Scholar Program
Katie Koo, assistant professor in the Mary Frances Early College of Education’s Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, was recently selected for the inaugural cohort of the Korean American Educational Research Association (KAERA) Early Scholar Program.
The two-year program will provide mentorship and resources to early-career Korean American scholars.

Johnson-Bailey receives Women’s Studies Faculty Award, holds the Centennial Professorship
Juanita Johnson-Bailey, a professor in the College’s Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy, received the Women’s Studies Faculty Award at this year’s Women Faculty Reception on Nov. 2.
Additionally, she holds the inaugural Centennial Professorship, an endowed professorship that was created to honor the 100th anniversary of the enrollment of women at UGA.
