Upcoming UGA Innovation District events
UGA’s Innovation District is hosting a couple of upcoming free opportunities that might interest folks in the education community. These events are open to the public both on and off-campus thanks to a donation from the Truist Foundation.
Of particular interest to educators in general, the Real Colors assessment is frequently used in professional development workshops for teachers. Here, they are offering it free to individuals who are interested in learning more about themselves and how to better communicate with others.

How do you know if an innovative idea lends itself more to a for-profit or nonprofit organization? Many people who reach out to UGA’s Innovation District have entrepreneurial ideas that would offer tremendous community benefit and would likely be more successful as a 501(c)(3) social startup. But what does that actually mean?
During this session, a panel of community nonprofit experts will offer their tips and knowledge of the nonprofit world and its benefits, challenges, etc. Dinner is provided, and there will be a Q&A session following the panel.
