Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference

The University of Georgia will once again serve as an institutional sponsor for the Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference hosted by Virginia Tech. The conference is scheduled to take place April 20-23 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.

With the Support of the Office of the Provost, the Graduate School, the Office of Faculty Affairs, and the Office of Institutional Diversity, the cost of registration and a $500 travel subsidy will be provided for five UGA faculty members. To apply for this conference support, we are asking interested individuals to send a one-page explanation of how they might benefit from attending the conference, as well as their CV, to diverse@uga.edu by Friday, Feb. 17.
