Brown, Chapman-Hilliard inducted into 2022 Teaching Academy
Jennifer Brown, associate professor and graduate coordinator in the Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education, and Collette Chapman-Hilliard, associate professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, were inducted into the 2022 UGA Teaching Academy.
The Teaching Academy began in 1999 with a focus on learning through inquiry and celebrating excellence in teaching. Brown and Chapman-Hilliard are two of 13 inductees for 2022.

Kim named Omer Clyde and Elizabeth Pharr Aderhold Professor in Research Methodology
Seock-Ho Kim, a professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, was named the Omer Clyde and Elizabeth Pharr Aderhold Professor in Research Methodology by the Board of Regents. The professorship is funded by a gift from the family of the late President Aderhold.
This professorship will provide Kim with the resources to expand his internationally recognized work in educational measurement with a specific focus on item response theory.
