Staff appreciation: Graduate program administrators

Graduate program administrators respond to numerous emails and phone calls from graduate applicants who are anxious to get accepted into our programs and concerned about the status of their applications. Likewise, they work with our graduate students and the College’s Office of Research and Graduate Education to ensure that all forms are submitted to the Graduate School accurately and on time so our students can graduate.

Working with our future and current students—and their advisors—requires patience, organization, and kindness. We are lucky to have fantastic graduate program administrators with these characteristics to represent our exceptional programs and assist us and our current and future graduate students.

Please take a minute to either send a quick note of appreciation to your department’s graduate program administrator or stop by their office to let them know how much they are appreciated.
