Celebrating Ramadan

Ramadan Mubarak! Ramadan is considered one of the holiest months of the year for Muslims and is a spiritual period of fasting and prayer. During this time, practicing Muslims will not eat or drink from dawn to dusk.

Ramadan celebration often includes prayer well into the night. The month concludes with a festival called Eid-al-Fitr, a celebration to mark the breaking of the fast. This year, Ramadan started on Wednesday, March 22 and ends on Friday, April 21.
