As a distinguishing feature of undergraduate education at UGA, the experiential learning requirement is designed to prepare students with the competencies to succeed in emerging careers and positively impact their communities. Currently, over 2,600 courses and non-credit activities have been approved for the experiential learning requirement. The UGA Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) is always looking to expand these opportunities for students, and this workshop will prepare faculty and staff to join in that effort.

In this workshop, OEL staff will discuss the approval process for courses and non-credit activities and guide participants through the proposal process. Participants should come prepared with an idea, outline, syllabus, or other plan to workshop into a proposal.
