Staff appreciation: Office of Faculty and Staff Services

Staff members in the Office of Faculty and Staff Services are internal liaisons to the Mary Frances Early College of Education’s department heads and unit directors and externally to the University, including University Human Resources (UHR) and the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) in the Provost’s Office.

• Takenya Moore is the human resources manager who keeps staff and faculty informed of UHR policies and works with unit and department heads as well as office and business managers to keep the College running from the personnel side. Moore is the interface for the College with UHR and OFA, and she works on every aspect of faculty and staff life from hiring to retirement.
• Zuleme “Zu” Reuter is the administrative lead providing customer service and transactional support while facilitating employee engagement with matters such as onboarding, outside consulting, and managing faculty events. She is also the facilities and safety coordinator for the College.
• Tracey Jordan joined the office on Monday as the business manager. Jordan assists the College’s centers by preparing payroll and financial transactions to support the College’s instructional, research, and service endeavors. She also reviews account records, advises unit administration on available balances and appropriate use of funds, and helps build unit and college-level budget plans.
