Attend Visual Inquiry: Explorations and Experimentations on April 26
- Date: Wednesday, April 26
- Time: 6-7:30 p.m.
- Location: River’s Crossing Sunroom
What do images tell us about how we know and who we are in the world? Visual inquiries create space for researchers to think outside of written language (or normative research practices) and to inquire and make meaning through embodied artistic practices. During the spring 2023 semester, students from QUAL 8035: Visual Inquiry explored the historical and current landscape of visual approaches to research their place in/against the field of qualitative research. They experimented with a range of visually oriented methods and approaches including collage, map-making, new media, photography, visual writing, performance, and sound.
Join students from the course in the River’s Crossing Sunroom today as they present their final projects. Exhibits will be on display in the space through Wednesday, May 3. Questions or inquiries can be directed to Maureen Flint.
