On Thursday, the College celebrated our outstanding staff members with an appreciation lunch. We are fortunate to have a talented and dedicated cadre of staff members who are creative problem solvers who collaborate effectively with others to make sure the needs of every member of our College community are met.
Staff members are often the first point of contact for students, visitors, new employees, and other units on campus, and they also do much work behind the scenes that often goes unrecognized and underappreciated. Staff members are often asked to solve problems not of their own making (and that could have been avoided if we had sought their input in advance), and they do so calmly and with smiles on their faces. We simply could not do what we do without them.
