Congratulations to professor Bernadette Heckman and her colleagues on receiving an award from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Elementary and Secondary Education. The project’s objectives and activities include increasing the number and diversity of mental health providers from the College’s school counseling and school psychology programs who will provide contextualized mental health services in five high-need schools in rural northern Georgia.
