Melisa Cahnmann-Taylor, a professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, was included in a list of local authors in the Red & Black.

She has written or co-authored books on art, education, poetry, and teaching language. Her most recent book, “Enlivening Instruction with Drama and Improv: A Guide for Second Language and World Language Teachers,” was published in 2021.

Giordano quoted in New York Post about video game addiction

Amanda Giordano, an associate professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, was quoted in a New York Post article about video game addiction.

“There is a substantial body of research demonstrating that, for a subset of gamers, their gaming becomes compulsive,” she said.
