Welcome new staff member: IV Bray
The K-12 Assessment Solutions team would like to extend a huge welcome to William “IV” Bray. IV joins the team as an academic services professional with a focus on supporting middle and high school math and science formative item and assessment development.
IV brings 29 years of experience and knowledge to the team. He has served as a high school teacher, assistant principal, principal, and associate head of school. A fun fact: IV was a police officer with the UGA Police Department for three years prior to his education career. He has been a loyal Dawg fan since birth and completed both a master’s and specialist degree in science education at UGA. IV plans to apply for and complete his doctoral degree in science education at UGA in the very near future. He is married to Gabby Bray, an assistant principal at Phoenix High School in Gwinnett County. They have three children, Will (a junior at UGA), Marshall (a freshman at Augusta University), and Emily (a sophomore at Brookwood High School in Gwinnett County).
We are excited to have IV as part of the team and look forward to his contributions to the various projects we manage supporting formative assessment development in Georgia and beyond!
