Engelhard gives presidential address in China

George Engelhard, a professor in the Department of Educational Psychology’s Quantitative Methodology program, recently presented a presidential address to the Pacific Rim Objective Measurement Society in Macau.

The title of his address was “Invariant measurement and the three traditions of measurement,” and the main focus of his talk was on the quest for invariance in the measurement of key constructs and relationships in the human sciences.
