Delgado-Romero quoted in GPB segment
Edward Delgado-Romero, associate dean for faculty and staff services, was interviewed for the Georgia Public Broadcasting program “Georgia in Play” in an episode on health.
He spoke about La Clínica in LaK’ech, a clinic providing bilingual counseling services in the Athens area for the Latino community, which has trained 40 bilingual/bicultural clinicians over the past eight years.

Rosenzweig quoted in Education Week
Emily Q. Rosenzweig, an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, was quoted in an article from Education Week about motivating students.
She said many factors influence motivation, and that teachers can implement different strategies to help motivate students.
“You really can’t underestimate the power of making sure students feel confident to succeed and just being sure to draw students’ attention to their success,” she said.
