Register for hands-only CPR training on Sept. 29

Emergencies requiring cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can and do occur without warning. Many people who survive a cardiac emergency are helped by a bystander.

The Office of Emergency Preparedness offers a free class on how to perform compression-only (hands-only) CPR. They will cover basic life support techniques used to perform compressions, as well as techniques used to restore and maintain circulation. They will also review how to use the automated external defibrillator (AED) devices, which can be found in each of the College’s buildings.

Note: This course is intended to provide knowledge-based training only and does NOT certify you in CPR. We will be exploring options for certification in the future. If you are interested in CPR certification, please complete this interest form.
