Attend Hispanic Heritage Festival on Oct. 4

  • Date: Wednesday, Oct. 4
  • Time: 5-7 p.m.
  • Location: Clarke Central High School

As part of Clarke Central High School’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, we are putting together a festival with music, dance, face paint, quinceañera dress show, food, and more for the whole family!

Come celebrate and bring a friend. Fuad Elhage and Stephanie Lynn from the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences will teach some Latin dances and perform a tango demonstration! We are very excited to share this celebration—sponsored by Lou Tolosa-Casadont, clinical professor and world language program coordinator in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, and the Glickman Award—with our Athens-Clarke County community. We’d love to have lots of folks at Clarke Central supporting local food trucks and celebrating with us.
