Educating our community on Israel-Hamas conflict

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion would like to extend its deepest sympathies to members of our College personally affected by the ongoing violence in the Israel-Hamas war. We are saddened to hear about the continued violence impacting the region, and many of our faculty, staff, and students are deeply concerned. We understand the highly political and contentious nature of this conflict, and as an academic community, we believe it is important to wrestle with divisive issues with compassion and a commitment to education.

In a show of support, the DEI Office encourages faculty and staff with knowledge of the region to please submit any educational and/or support-based resources that will help all of us better understand the history behind this conflict and how to support all communities involved. All recommended sources will be vetted, and we will add recommendations to the DEI content library featured on the College’s DEI webpage.

If you would like to share a resource with us, please email the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
