Attend CEEDAR Center meeting today

  • Date: Wednesday, Nov. 8
  • Time: Noon-12:30 p.m.
  • Location: Zoom

The local UGA CEEDAR team will host a virtual information session with CEEDAR Center’s national co-director Meg Kamman. Three reasons why you should attend the CEEDAR virtual lunch and learn include:

  • Increase your opportunities to collaborate: CEEDAR stands for Collaboration for Effective Educator Development, Accountability, and Reform. Learn about opportunities to engage with educator preparation programs across the state of Georgia and the nation.
  • Increase your awareness of and access to instructional resources: CEEDAR provides complimentary access to instructional support materials via content enhancement modules and professional learning opportunities. Topics include culturally relevant education, evidence-based reading instruction, and universal design for learning.
  • Increase your ability to improve program efficacy: CEEDAR also provides complimentary access to online program review tools designed to aid faculty in assessing program effectiveness across areas like instruction for English language learners, reading instruction, and high-leverage practices.

If you have questions, feel free to contact faculty members Kimberly Viel-Ruma, Karen Bryant, or Paige Tompkins.
