Schmidt and Noah Glaser, an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, used a virtual reality headset to see how neurodiverse individuals travel across a college campus to use the bus compared to neurotypical individuals. The study provided insight into how neurodiverse learners interact with a virtual reality learning environment.
