The University of Georgia’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Breakfast is an annual partnership between the University of Georgia, the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government, and the Clarke County School District. The Freedom Breakfast honors the legacy of the late civil rights leader and recognizes community members dedicated to furthering race relations, justice, and human rights with the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award.

The Mary Frances Early College of Education will have a table at the event with seats for members of our College. Important parking information: Attendees should note that the Tate Center parking deck fills up very fast before the event, and the lines to use the Tate Center elevators and enter the Grand Hall can also be long. Therefore, we strongly advise you to arrive early, carpool, and/or take the bus so you can enjoy the start of the event.
