Call for nominations: Administrative review of Dean Denise Spangler

• Nomination deadline: Friday, Feb. 2 at 5 p.m.

A routine review of Denise Spangler in her capacity as dean of the Mary Frances Early College of Education will be conducted this spring. This review complies with the University Statutes and Board of Regents policies, which mandate an evaluation of the dean’s leadership and administrative performance every five years.

A small committee composed primarily of senior faculty in the Mary Frances Early College of Education, as well as classified staff, will be appointed by S. Jack Hu, senior vice president for academic affairs and provost. Dean Philip Hong of the School of Social Work will chair the committee, and the Office of Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness will support the work of the committee.

Please submit your committee nominations via the nomination form. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2. Questions concerning the review process may be directed to Katie Chapman in the Office of Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness.
