Updates from the College’s Marketing and Communications Office
The Communications Office recently changed its name to the Marketing and Communications Office to better reflect our services to the College’s departments and units.
We provide a range of communication and creative services to aid faculty and staff in their mission of teaching, research, service, and outreach. Internally, we produce newsletters, including COEfyi, and content for the digital screens, while our external communications include strategic messaging using our social media channels to increase engagement with our various audiences. We also manage the College’s website and the visual identity system, including branding and logos, as well as creating conference programs and promotion, digital invites, brochures/flyers, student recruitment efforts, and promoting our signature events.
Another change is that COEfyi New Courses—which goes out once a week on Fridays to all graduate students, program coordinators, advisors, and faculty—has been renamed to Course Spotlight and will feature a new banner graphic. This name change better reflects the goal of the newsletter, which is to promote all courses that may be of interest to graduate students in the College. The link to submit a ticket to Course Spotlight, which only goes out when new posts are submitted, will not change for those who have the form bookmarked.
Faculty and staff can find and submit tickets for a variety of communication services on the College’s internal resources webpage under “Marketing and Communication Services.” These tickets include:
