The Healing Circle: Support group for Black womxn
On Monday, March 11, Tamiya Bobb, a master’s-level student therapist, and Moesha Ciceron, a doctoral-level student therapist, will be facilitating a free and virtual sacred space for Black womxn at UGA’s Center for Counseling and Personal Evaluation.
The Healing Circle provides a supportive environment for Black womxn to delve into topics like loss, stress, depression, relationships, identities, boundaries, spirituality, and engage in collective healing. “Womxn” is used to encompass a broader range of gender identities, challenge binary gender constructs, and reflect inclusivity for trans and nonbinary folks.
This upcoming cycle will begin on Monday, March 11. The specific time will be determined based on the availability of those interested. We kindly request that all considering participants make room in their schedules for this eight-week commitment. We appreciate your interest and look forward to accompanying you on your path to healing. Enroll now to begin your journey!
