DEI DawgTank Research Competition

Do you have an idea for a research project focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in education? Submit a proposal to “pitch” your project at our DawgTank Research Competition for a chance to win funding for your research!
Competition details:
- Graduate students will submit 500-word proposals by Monday, April 1
- Five finalists will be selected to present a five-minute “pitch” of their research projects at the event on Tuesday, April 30
- A panel of judges or “dawgs” will award research funding up to $900 in support of top presenters
The DawgTank “pitch”:
- Finalists will pitch their projects to a panel of judges or “dawgs”
- “Sell” your research project with a five-minute pitch, using whatever media deemed necessary
- “Dawg” judges will have up to five minutes for Q&A
- Pitches will be judged on their contributions to DEI, funding needs, and scientific rigor
