From the Office of Research and Graduate Education: Congratulations to Early Career Faculty Research Grant Program awardees

On behalf of the Mary Frances Early College of Education, the Office of Research and Graduate Education would like to congratulate the following faculty members on receiving the fiscal year 2025 College Early Career Faculty Research Grant award:

  • Emily Adah Miller, Department of Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies Education, “Enhancing Collaborative Skills via Integrating Elementary Student Science Learning with Social-Emotional Learning”
  • Rebecca Cooper Geller, Department of Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies Education, “Controversial Issues in Mixed Reality: Learning to Teach in a Divided Nation”
  • Henriette Lundgren, Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy, “Democratizing coaching through cultural competence”

This “seed money” research grant opportunity is strongly focused on developing research initiatives of new, tenure-track assistant professors in their first five years of employment in the College. Applications are due the second Friday of February each year.
