Kudos: Undergraduate advisor wins second place Transfer Student Advocate Award
Lauren Flowers, a senior advisor in the Office of Undergraduate Advising, won second place for the Transfer Student Advocate Award. The Transfer Student Advocate Award is given by the UGA Office of Transfer Services and celebrates excellence in fostering a culture of support and collaboration in the UGA community. This award is fully based off of transfer student nominations and recognizes the dedication and efforts of faculty and staff members in ensuring the smooth transition and success of transfer students at UGA.
Flowers won second place out of a total of 178 UGA faculty and staff nominated by their transfer students for the award. She has worked for the Mary Frances Early College of Education since 2017 and has been an academic advisor in the Department of Kinesiology since 2019.
