Save the date: Welcome to Clinical Practice orientation on Aug. 15

The Mary Frances Early College of Education is hosting a “Welcome to Clinical Practice” orientation for all teacher candidates who are either entering their student teaching/clinical semester this fall or who will do so this spring. Attendance is required. Topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to:

Logistics related to attendance/arrival to school and logging hours/communication
Professionalism
Ethics
Social media
Local partner school hiring processes
GaPSC certification requirements
PECA contract

This will be a fun and welcoming event, so there are special surprises and guests in the works. More details will be shared soon.
