Fall 2024 ITT Academy: Generative AI Literacy and Ethical Practice for the Classroom

We are excited to announce the call for participation in the fall 2024 Innovation in Teaching and Technology (ITT) Academy. This academy is designed for faculty and graduate teaching assistants in the Mary Frances Early College of Education who are eager to collaborate on the integration of generative AI in educational settings. Our focus will be on fostering a comprehensive understanding of AI literacy and promoting ethical practices in the classroom. Participants will explore strategies to cultivate an environment that supports ethical, critical, and effective AI usage, enhancing both student learning outcomes and agency.
Meeting schedule:
- Friday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m.-noon
- Friday, Oct. 4, 10 a.m.-noon
- Friday, Oct. 18, 10 a.m.-noon
- Friday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m.-noon
Participation details:
- Limited to 10 participants
- Priority will be given to faculty and programmatic diversity
- All sessions will be held in person in Aderhold Hall Room 119
- College faculty budgeted for at least 45% instruction are eligible for a $500 stipend
