- Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1:30-3:30 p.m., Zoom (register today)
As part of the Engage and Learn initiative, UGA has incorporated staff feedback to create UGA Journeys, a comprehensive employee performance management system designed to help staff grow in their careers, connect their work directly to departmental and University goals, and provide staff the resources and skills needed to lead.
This workshop, the “first stop” of an employee’s UGA Journey, is designed to provide staff intentional leadership development, an opportunity to complete the Gallup CliftonStrengths Assessment, explore how they uniquely contribute to and work effectively with their team, and build a foundation for greater understanding of the UGA Staff Competency. Participants should expect to debrief their CliftonStrengths results with a group of staff broadly, reflect on measures they can implement to incorporate their results into the workplace, and develop a roadmap for incorporating the Staff Competency Model and future Engage and Learn initiatives into their UGA Journey.
