Welcome new staff member: Samuel Jorgensen

We are excited to welcome Samuel Jorgensen to the Office of Undergraduate Advising as an academic advisor! Sam will be advising students pursuing degrees in elementary education, English education, and science education. A double graduate of the University of Georgia, Sam holds both a B.S.Ed. in secondary mathematics education and a B.S. in mathematics, which he earned in 2018.

After spending six years teaching high school math, Sam is thrilled to return to his alma mater, where he is eager to support and guide future educators. Outside of work, Sam and his wife, long-time Athens residents, enjoy running, biking, hiking, and cheering on the Dawgs. Welcome, Sam!
