Please join us for the third USG Science of Reading Higher Education Consortium Professional Learning session on “The Science of Reading in K-3: Clarifying Common Misconceptions.” We are pleased to host Kelly Williams, assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education, to lead this informative talk.

In this presentation, participants will learn about the science of reading (SoR) in kindergarten through third grade and common SoR misconceptions. Implications for faculty and instructors in teacher preparation programs and professionals in schools that serve K-3 students will be discussed.
