Access to College buildings: Regular access hours and football game days
Regular building hours are:
- Aderhold Hall: 7 a.m.-8 p.m. daily
- Ramsey Student Center: 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday; 2-11 p.m. Sunday
- River’s Crossing: 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday
Access outside of these hours is gained by swiping your UGA identification card at the card reader on the exterior of the building.
All three buildings will be locked on home football game days and are considered off-limits. Employees can access the buildings on game days for work purposes if needed by swiping their University identification card, but if they do so, they must ensure the doors lock behind them and that no unauthorized persons enter the building. If you have problems with unauthorized persons attempting to enter the building, please contact the University Police at 706-542-2200.
The parking lots and decks for Aderhold Hall and the Ramsey Student Center are used by the Athletic Association on game days, so you will not be able to park in the lots if you choose to come to the office. The River’s Crossing parking lot is not affected.
There are home football games on the following dates:
- Saturday, Nov. 16
- Saturday, Nov. 23
- Friday, Nov. 29 (Note: University is on break on this date)
Note about building access via UGA identification card: If you have had swipe card access in the past, you still have it. This is not a process we reset each year; we only delete those who have left the College, so you do not need to confirm your access. If you do not have access and need it (whether for football games or other times during the year), please have your office manager/business manager email John Nelson in the Office of Information Technology with your name as it appears in the system and your 81x number.
