Brady Education Foundation grant opportunities

  • Stage 1 proposal deadline: Sunday, Dec. 1

The Brady Education Foundation is currently accepting Research Project (RP) proposals and Existing Program Evaluation (EPE) proposals that have the potential to provide data that will inform how to address disparities in educational opportunities associated with race, ethnicity, and family income. The Stage 1 proposal deadline is Sunday, Dec. 1.

Based upon recent giving, request amounts are usually somewhere near the range of $100,000-$125,000 per year of the grant—for example, $138,000 for a one-year grant, $227,000 for a two-year grant, $368,000 for a three-year grant, etc. It appears one- and two-year grants are more common, but three years is the limit.

Please visit the Brady Education Foundation website for application information, and contact Grace Thornton Burger, Office of Research and Graduate Education, and Matt Pruitt, senior director of UGA Foundation Relations, for assistance in discussing an application plan and timeline.
