Attend Graduate Mentoring Summit on Jan. 17

The UGA Graduate School will host a Graduate Mentoring Summit on Friday, Jan. 17. The program will also include a panel discussion of effective mentoring practices across UGA graduate programs and a keynote presentation by Erin Dolan providing key takeaways from her renowned research on graduate mentoring practices. An optional networking lunch will follow.

This summit will also be the official launch of the Graduate Mentoring Certificate for Faculty, a forthcoming program we discussed recently. A limited number of seats are available for faculty who would like to complete the “Aligning Expectations” session of the certificate on the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 17, following the summit. Faculty will also be able to sign up for spring semester sessions in PEP soon.
